Surf school Texel Pole 17

Paal 17, known to many from the Round Texel Race, the beach pavilion, and the events. Centrally located on the island and behind the Ecomare seal sanctuary.

 

A surf school, Surfschool Texel, can also be found on the south side of this beach. For over 18 years now, surf lessons have been provided from this location to anyone who wants to learn to surf. Surfing never gets boring! Children, adults, school classes, groups of friends, and many more have been introduced to this beautiful sport. Safety and fun come first!

 

 

Surfing never gets boring. Enjoy this challenging and relaxed sport at the most beautiful surf spot in the Netherlands.

Facilities

Our accommodation offers various facilities. We have changing rooms where you can comfortably try on a wetsuit. After the lesson, you can rinse off the salt water outside. We would also love it if you came to relax in the hammock or have a cup of coffee with us before or after the lesson.

If you bring your own belongings, there is an option to store them with us.

Surfspot Pole 17

In the summer, there is plenty of surfing at Paal 17. The breakwaters and the location of the sandbanks make the beach a good surf spot. The conditions provide ideal circumstances for both beginners and advanced surfers. Surf conditions are best during outgoing and incoming tides.
