Surfing
A question we often hear when talking about surfing in the Netherlands is: Can you even surf on the North Sea? The answer is a resounding yes! While the water may not be as turquoise as in Morocco or Bali, and the waves may be a little gentler, the North Sea often delivers surprisingly great conditions. It’s a playground where you can feel the raw power of nature and the uplifting energy of the waves.
Whether you’ve surfed for years or never touched a board before, the ocean will sweep you into a feeling of freedom, joy, and pure presence. Every wave teaches you something – and it’s hard not to leave the water with a huge grin.
We offer two hours of surf lessons each day, plus extra time for free surfing if you wish. Our sessions cater to all levels – from first-timers to seasoned riders – with an emphasis on safety, reading the waves, and improving technique. Our experienced instructors will guide you from catching your very first wave to refining your skills and learning new tricks.
Yoga
Yoga is an ancient philosophy from India, with physical postures – asanas – being just one part of the practice. Each pose invites you to connect more deeply with yourself, calm your mind, and move your body with awareness and respect.
During the weekend, you’ll enjoy daily 90-minute yoga sessions inspired by Hatha yoga. These classes will help you find strength, balance, and flexibility – all of which are perfect companions when facing the waves. You’ll also learn to control your breathing, sharpen your focus, and stay centred both on and off the board.
We hope that the moments you spend on the mat will not only prepare you for your surf adventures but also inspire you to see the world around you with an open, mindful heart.

Food​
Our brilliant chef, who shares a passion for both surfing and yoga, will lovingly prepare every meal using local, seasonal ingredients. From nourishing breakfasts to soul-warming dinners, every dish will leave you energised, satisfied, and ready for your next adventure.​

Location
We’ll be staying at the charming Fekonsieskuur group accommodation, tucked away at the edge of the dunes and surrounded by Texel’s pine forests. Here, the scent of the sea mingles with the trees, creating the perfect balance between tranquillity and adventure.

In just a few minutes by bike, you’ll find yourself on the beach, ready to dive into the surf. Prefer a quieter moment? Scenic walking trails start right from the doorstep, inviting you to slip into the island’s natural rhythm.

Inside, you’ll find two spacious dorms, modern showers, a cosy living and dining area for shared meals and laughter, and a calm yoga space for deep breathing and mindful movement. Outside, a green terrace offers the perfect spot to unwind after an active day.
